I got hit by a car, but God

On Wednesday Oct. 16th I was running early in the morning when I got hit by a car going 50mph+.

But God!

Getting hit by a car is a scary experience. And, it hurts. It was dark, I crossed into the oncoming lane to avoid a car coming towards me but did not see the car behind me. I heard it and saw the headlights as they were on me. Somehow though, I leapt out of the way into the grassy median. A split second later could have been a lethal or a paralyzing blow. When I jumped, the car hit my left foot with his bumper. Kept going - hit and run. immediately yelled 'THANK YOU GOD' before screaming as the shock of what happened hit me.

A friend who heard it said the sound of the car hitting my foot was like a gunshot. Kristina came quickly, and was in shock. The paramedics took me to the hospital where my foot was Xrayed. Their report: nothing broken. They let me go within 30 minutes.

Foot is doing well. It hurts. I’m on crutches, but healing well. Thanks for your prayers.

All I can say is this:

⁷ The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear him,
 and he delivers them.

 and his ears are attentive to their cry;
