My Mulligan - Precious Moments

Friends & family,

Hello & Shalom!

In golf, at the first hole usually, we get a ‘mulligan.’ This is when you were going for a great shot, and absolutely shanked it. The ball has gone due east and you just need a do-over. The only thing is… you only get one.

That’s how I feel about this newsletter. Just about every week since leaving Connecticut for North Carolina, I have thought to write you. Best intended plans unfold differently than expected, and I thought perhaps to win back your favor by sharing some precious moments we’ve had since leaving.

Faith is now 7 months old, and her first word is officially ‘Abba!’ often pronounced something to the tune of abbabbabbabbabbabbabba. Seeing as she was cooked in worship music, we’re right on track.

Avalon has graduated kindergarten, and is going into first grade! She has made lots of friends, albeit has had to send the closest ones off to be missionaries in Kenya, Indonesia, and soon to Brazil. We’ve been sad to say goodbye, but grateful to know friends serving the Lord around the world.

While these pictures reflect the precious moments of life, it is mixed with lots of poopie diapers, tired mornings, and heart ache as we miss all of you.

Please pray for us!
Eric, Kristina, Avalon & Faith

You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit—fruit that will last—and so that whatever you ask in my name the Father will give you. This is my command: Love each other. - John 15:16-17
